Visitors Egypt’s tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. They will be holding a sign showing the company’s name (Visitors Egypt Tours).
Start your day tour to Dendera and Abydos Temples. Drive for about 3 hours to Seti I Temple at Abydos, it is located on the west bank of the Nile. You will visit the memorial temple of Ramses II and his father Seti I at Abydos, it is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt. And dedicated to the cult of Osiris and Isis. Abydos was the gateway to the underworld, it was a popular place of pilgrimage and burial in ancient Egypt.
And then, proceed to visit Hathor temple at Dendera, dedicated to the cow headed Hathor, goddess of love, joy and music. Hathor temple is one of the few Egyptian temples with an intact colorful astronomical ceiling and accessible rooftop. The temple painting shows the depictions of Cleopatra VI on its rear walls, demonstrating fine examples of Ptolemaic Egyptian art.
At the end, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
