Visitors Egypt’s tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. They will be waiting in the lobby holding a sign of Visitors Egypt Tours.
Alexandria offers many activities, but we will offer you a view of the city from a different perspective: exploring the dark side of it! We will first go to the entrance of Kaitbey Castle, a part of Alexandria that was always veiled in mystery. There, you will hear about the turbulent history of the city’s main dark times and nearby old houses.
Following, we will explore the enchanting and evergreen Montaza park which, in the distant past, was one of the most royal places in the City.
Then, we will continue through a labyrinth of old streets in old downtown area and, finally, we will enter the Old City.
All along the way, you will see different historical sites, some of them reputed to be haunted, some of them known for other dark tales or legends. This is a fully-narrated walk, so expect to hear many stories, followed by the atmospheric surrounding of the evening walk through some lesser known parts of the town.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
